Hey y’all ! Incase you’re still finishing up some Christmas decorating and need a last minute something extra, I thought I’d share this super quick and easy DIY with y’all.
Christmas hymn garland !
This little garland idea came to me completely by accident. I was grocery shopping this morning when I found the cutest holiday mini, wooden clips…
I knew I HAD to find something to do with them. The lady that rang me up suggested I hang all of my Christmas cards from them. How cute would that be ?! Then I realized I don’t have any. Haha ! What I do have is a 100+ year old hymnal full of Christmas hymns !
Here is a list of everything I used:
• Christmas hymnal pages ( you could use book pages , Christmas cards , etc. )
• miniature wooden holiday character clips ( I couldn’t find the exact ones online. I purchased mine from Ingles and I found similar ones on Etsy.)
• faux rosemary clippings ( you could also use real)
So all I did was measure the twine to the length that I wanted it and went ahead and tied the twine to my stair rail. Then I placed my rosemary on top of my page and clipped them on with my holiday clips! – My son then decided to add a couple of candy canes on there and I thought it was too cute. –
I hope this inspires you as you finish up your Christmas decor this year! If so , and you’d like us to share your photo on Instagram , use our new hashtag #TGOBmademedoit and tag us @thegrayolivebranch. We would LOVE to see how we’ve inspired YOU this holiday season !
